## Privacy and storage

The recording is created in the browser. Tab Tape's recording flow does not require captured content to be uploaded to a Tab Tape cloud. The resulting WebM file is saved locally in the browser's Downloads folder.

## Account and availability

The recording flow does not require an account. The Chrome Web Store release is not yet available unless the homepage displays an active installation link.
